Northampton IFA are Rafter Associates - a family run business which has been trading since 1981. Rafter Associates has always enjoyed a reputation for high ethical standards, something for which we are extremely proud.

Just as people's objectives differ, so will their plans - and so does the advice we provide. Whilst our advice is individually tailored to each client, the process we follow is very consistent - developed over a number of years of working with clients at different life stages and with different long term objectives - this planning has proven to assist in the achievment of their goals.

We offer a flexible method of paying for our work, either by fees and/or commission. Whilst some independent financial advisers frown on commission as a means of remuneration, this can sometimes prove to be the most convenient and cost effective way of paying for our advice.

However, if the most suitable solution does not involve a product, we won't recommend one. We will simply advise you of the best strategies to achieve your goals. This may involve non-commission paying methods such as repaying debt or investing in cash accounts.
